The Perils of Pauline stars Betty Hutton as Silent Serial Star Pearl White (Betty also played Texas Guinan "Incendiary Blonde" which plays on AMC now and then. She always got the "spunky" roles.)

No No Nanette was a Broadway hit musical of the 20s. The movie was made in the 40s. It was remade in the 50s as Tea for Two with Doris Day.

Thoroughly Modern Millie has Julie Andrews in the title role. Features Carol Channing singing "Jazz Baby." There's a Chinese Opium Den in this musical!
